from Ann Brickner:  about Jane Flowers "they lived in PA (I forget where), Benjamin traveled and often had large sums of money on him.  He was attacked at an inn by robbers, who killed him.  Jane brought her several small children to Seneca Co.  Can't remember now, but she must have come with others, or she had family already here or something.  Can't remember that part.  Her dau, Mary E. Flowers, md. John W. Warner, bro/o Jacob M. Warner.  John W. Warner also served in the Civil War, but from Michigan.  He died in service - VA, I think"

about John Carr "Elizabeth Laughead md. John Carr in 1847.  When he died, she buried him here.  In 1855, Jacob M. Warner lost his wife (she's Elizabeth Drum Warner, buried in the Lutheran Cem., Tymochtee Twp., Wyandot Co).  So Jacob then md. Mrs. Elizabeth Laughead Carr.  Although 43 years old, he served 100 days as a Private in Co. E, 164 OH Volunteer Infantry during the winter of 1864-65.  He served on the south bank of the Potomac and saw little action.  But he did have "lung trouble" during the winter, and on his way home, he reportedly contracted smallpox.  I wonder if it wasn't just the "lung trouble" (pneumonia?) that caught up with him.  The only good thing was that he got to die at home.  His wife buried him in the Methodist Cem with her 1st husband.  Hence the GAR marker and flag.  Elizabeth had found other homes for his children already, and she lived in Wyandot Co. with her children until 21 Jun 1904.  I assume she is buried here also, but I have found no record of her burial."
