Between 1800-1840 Joseph Foster's Index Ecclesiasticus published lists of clerical appointments, and from the end of this period the Clergy Lists began publication. Both of these publications were essentially a list of clergy linked to the parishes they were then serving. Overlapping with the latter publication Crockford's Clerical Directory has been produced at regular intervals (often yearly) since 1858. It gives information about individual clergy within the Established Church (i.e. the Anglican Church) anywhere in the world. Typically entries start with details of the individual's education and qualifications then continues with details of his present living and his career to date. As any individual clergyman will have many entries in Crockford throughout his career it is proposed to only add the latest entry found to this page. The following comes from a search of clerical directories held at Lincoln Archive; searching for the names ORMANDY, ORMONDY, ORMAND, ORMOND and ORMAN. The search was deliberately ended with the 1949-50 edition of Crockford. The dates in brackets after the name of the publication are those of the editions available and searched.
