DEATHS - On 27 April 1885 at Tory St, William GREENFIELD aged 60y. Christchurch, Sydney and Home papers please copy.

Local Matters: There died yesterday, at his residence in Tory St, a well-known citizen in the person of Mr William GREENFIELD, plasterer. Mr GREENFIELD arrived in Wellington in the ship Ann Wilson in 1857 and has lived here ever since. He leaves a grown-up family of eight, several of whom occupy respectable positions in town, while others are in Australia. Mr GREENFIELD was 60 years of age.

Local Matters: Another of the old Wellington settlers died this morning, Mrs William GREENFIELD of Tory St. The deceased lady came to Wellington in the ship Ann Wilson in 1857, and leaves a large circle of friends and relatives to mourn her loss.

DEATHS - On 23 March at Kilbirnie, Mary Ann beloved wife of William GREENFIELD, aged 29y.

FUNERAL - The friends of William GREENFIELD are respectfully invited to attend the funeral of his late wife, Mary Ann, which will leave his father's residence, Tory St, on Monday at 3 o'clock. A BROWN, Undertaker.
