William INNES:
WILLIAM INNES born 1832, Aberchirder, Parish of Marnoch, Banffshire. Brother of PETER INNES (see "David G Fleming 1863). Although trained as a carpenter he farmed at Elgin near Ashburton soon after arriving. He

ISABELLA CHALMERS born 1843 at the Mill of Ardlogie, Fyvie, Aberdeenshire. She followed her fiance PETER INNES (see "David G Fleming" 1863) and they were married at the Presbyterian Manse, Christchurch 1867.
