| Joachim Frederick PAGELS
married Catherine TAG (aka Catherine DAY) in 1795 in Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania. Joachim probably died in 1800 or shortly thereafter. His place of origin is
unknown. There is one census entry concerning his daughter Mary that says her father was
from Sweden. Almost certainly, Joachim was a Lutheran. They had three children: Mary, John, and Christina. Catherine TAG remarried, first to HALTER and later to J. FULMER.
