Mary Huffman Will

From the office of Earl S. Keim II, Register of Wills and Clerk of the Orphan's Court of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, the 26 day of Feb. 1997 copies of the wills of Thomas and Mary Hamilton were obtained. Their contents is as follows:

WILL OF MARY (HUFFMAN) HAMILTON N938 of 1884 ] Be it remembered that I Mary Hamilton of Will of ] Franklin Township in the County of West Mary Hamilton ] moreland and State of Pennsylvania being of Deceased ] sound mind and memory and understanding, do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner following that is to say. First that my funeral expences and doctor bills be paid and that head and foot stones be erected over my grave. As to such estate as it hath pleased God to entrust me with I dispose of the same as following. I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary A McCutcheon One hundred and fifty dollars to be paid one year after my decease without interest. I give and bequeath to my daughter Isabelle C. Fry, the sum of one hundred dollars to be paid two years after my decease without interest. I give and bequeath to my son Adam H Hamilton my best bureau and stand, brown bedstead and bed clothing. I give and bequeath to my son Thomas R Hamilton one dark colored bedstead and bedclothing one set of yellow chairs and breakfast table. All the rest and residue of my personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever of what nature kind and quality soever the same may be and not hereinbefore given and disposed of.

I give and bequeath unto aforesaid sons Adam H Hamilton and Thomas R Hamilton share and share alike. And I do hereby constitute and appoint my sons Adam H Hamilton and Thomas R Hamilton Executors of this my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I Mary Hamilton the Testatrix have to this my last will set my hand and seal this 26th day of June A.D. 1884. signed Mary Hamilton signed sealed published and declared by the above named Mary Hamilton as and for her last will and testament in the presence of us who have hereunto subscribed our names at her request as witness thereto in the presence of the said Testatrix and of each other. Monroe Steele James Steele Aug. 19, 1884 Legally proved and approved same day recorded. Testatrix died 3 Aug. 1884. Wm Hugus Register
