DUNLEVY in the WORLD WAR

COURTLEY. MARK H., Dunlevy. Pa,  Born Aug., 20. 1897,  Son of William and
Elizabeth Courtley of Dunlevy, Pa.  Entered service May 29, 1918.  Attached to 88th
Division, Quartermasters Corps,  Assigned to Columbus Barracks, Camps Johnson and
Hill.  Went overseas in Aug., 1918.  Served at St. Mihiel.  Honorably discharged June 12,
1919, Held rank of Sergeant.

COURTLEY, NELSON, Dunlevy, Pa. Born July 26, 1899.  Son of William and
Elizabeth Courtley of Dunlevy, Pa.  Entered service July 23, 1917.  Attached to Co. B,
18th Infantry,  Assigned to Camps Hancock, Johnson and Hill.  Went overseas in Sept.,
1917. Returned July 1, 1919.  Honorably discharged July 3, 1919.

DOOLEY, PETER C., Dunlevy, Pa.  Born Nov. 8, 1891.  Son of Michael and Margaret
Dooley of Dunlevy, Pa.  Entered service July 26, 1918.  Attached to Medical Corps.
Camp Hospitals 59 and 14.  Assigned to Camp Lee.  Went overseas Sept. 1, 1918.
Returned June 5. 1919.  Honorably discharged June 14, 1919.

GATES, CARL, Dunlevy, Pa.  Born Feb. 6, 1896.  Son of Robert and Lena Gates of
Dunlevy, Pa. Entered service May 28, 1918.  Attached to Co, D, 28th Engineers.
Assigned to Camp Humphreys.  Discharged  July  12, 1919.

HAYWOOD,  ARTHUR,  Dunlevy, Pa.  Born in 1893.  Son of Thomas and Katherine
Haywood of Dunlevy, Pa.  Entered service Oct. 7, 1917.  Attached to Co. C. 336th
Machine Gun Battalion.  Assigned to Camp Sherman and Pike and to Fort Sam Houston
Honorably discharged Jan. 4, 1919.

HAYWOOD, CHARLES C., Dunlevy, Pa.  Born in 1895.  Son of Thomas and Katherine
Haywood of Dunlevy, Pa.  Entered service Dec. 11, 1917.  Attached to Co. I. 6th
Infantry,   5th Division.  Assigned to Camps Sherman, Oglethorp and Mills. Went
overseas in May 1918. Returned July 1919.  Served at Chateau Thierry, St. Mihiel and
Meuse-Argonne.  Gassed during battle at St. Mihiel. Honorably discharged July 29. 1919.

LUPROI, PAUL, Dunlevy, Pa.  Born May 18, 1894.   Son of Otto and Amelia Luproi of
Dunlevy, Pa.  Entered service Dec. 13, 1917.   Attached to Battery C, 324th Heavy Field
Artillery, 32nd Division.  Assigned to Camps Sherman and Mills. Went overseas June 12,
1918. Served at Meuse-Argonne and in Verdun Sector.  Also served in Germany.
Honorably die-charged June 5, 1919.

MAHON, GEORGE H., Dunlevy, Pa.  Born Feb. 2, 1893.  Son of George and Josephine
Mahon of Dunlevy, Pa.  Entered service Dec. 18, 1917.  Attached to Co. B. 324tb
Artillery. 32nd Division. Assigned to Camps Sherman and Mills,  Went overseas June 11,
1918. Returned May 22,1919. Served at Meuse-Argonne and Verdun Offensives.
Honorably discharged June 5, 1919.

MARRACINI, JAMES, Dunlevy, Pa.  Born in June 1894.  Son of Domenieo and
Jueistna Marracini of Dunlevy, Pa.  Entered service Sept. 21, 1917. Attached to Co. L.
330th Infantry, 83rd Division.  Assigned to Camp Sherman and Camp Mills. Went
overseas in June 1918.  Honorably discharged in Feb. 1919.  Held rank of Corporal.

ROSINI, DINO, Dunlevy, Pa.  Born Aug 6, 1894.   Parents deceased. Entered service
May 28, 1918.  Attached to 21st Development Co., 154th  Depot Brigade  Assigned to
Camps Humphreys and Meade.  Honorably discharged Dec. 12, 1918.

RUECROFT, JAMES. Dunlevy. Pa. Born Mar. 3, 1592. Son of James and Mary
Ruecroft of Dunlevy. Pa. En. tered service in 1917.  Attached to 30th Infantry.  Assigned
to Camps Sherman and Lee as Cook. Honorably discharged in Jan. 1918.       -

URWIN, CLARENCE,  Dunlevy, Pa.  Born Jan. 5, 1896.  Son of Thomas and Sarah
Urwin of Dunlevy, Pa.  Entered service April 26, 1918.  Attached to Co. L,  28th
Infantry, 1st Division.  Assigned to Camps Sherman and Mills.  Went overseas June  6,
1918. Returned May 7, 1919.  Served at St.  Mihiel  and  Manse-Argonne. Wounded at
Argonne. Leg amputated from effects of wound.  Honorably discharged Sept. 5, 1919.

URWIN, HERBERT, Dunlevy, Pa.  Born Oct. 18, 1891.  Son of Thomas and Sarah
Urwin of Dunlevy, Pa.  Entered service May 28, 1918.  Attached to the Engineer Corps.
Assigned to Camp Comfort.  Honorably discharged June 13, 1918.
