and Elizabeth Hixenbaugh of Long Branch, Pa. Entered service Dec. 13, 1917. Assigned
to Camp Sherman. Attached to Battery C. 324th Heavy Artillery, 83rd Division.
Transferred to Co. I, 331st Infantry, 83rd Division, then transferred to Co. B, 110th
Infantry, 28th Division. Embarked for overseas in May 1918. Returned in May 1919.
Saw service in Thiacourt Sector. Honorably discharged May 23, 1919.SCHWARTZ, JOHN T., Long Branch, Pa. Born April 17, 1895. Son of John and
Pauline Schwartz of Long Branch, Pa. Entered service in April 1918. Assigned to Camp
Lee. Attached to Co. I. 319th Infantry, 80th Division. Embarked for overseas in May
1918, returned in June 1919. Saw service in Artois Sector, at St. Mihiel and
Meuse-Argonne. Honorably discharged in June 1919 with rank of Corporal.
