Hardiman-Pike Family
Genealogy of the Hardiman-Pike Families
My Southern Roots

This site is dedicated to my father, Raymond Brown Hardiman, and my mother, Janie Lorene Pike. Both families are represented here and are by no means complete. I have attempted to verify the data included here but much is still speculation. As with any genealogy project research is ongoing. I'm sure there are errors and welcome any and all updates or corrections from other researchers. I am particularly interested in the Pike family as I have been unable to move them, with any certainty, further back than their appearance in North Alabama ca 1820. I would also like to invite those researching the WORTHEY, BROWN, SMITH, STEWART, FLETCHER, and HARDIMAN families to feel free to contact me. By coincidence, my husband and I have a common ancestor in the Smith's so that is another family of extreme interest to me. A special note on the WORTHY line. Most of the information presented here is based on conclusions and educated guesses using various source records, mainly the census. With that in mind do NOT assume the family relationships are carved in stone. The lack of original source records prevents me from making absolute conclusions. My purpose in including this information here is to have a clearinghouse of sorts for other Worthy researchers. If you can prove or disprove any of the information presented here please, by all means, contact me and I will make corrections. - Linda Hardiman Smith
