WILLIAM MOORE b. 1677 (see below) MOORE LINE - SECOND GENERATION WILLIAM MOORE Born: 1677 Died: Will proved at Perquimanns Co. NC 31 Oct 1732. Note: In will, he gave plantations to sons William, John, Joshua, Samuel, and Truman. Will was dated 6 Feb 1726/7 Parents: John Moore - ? Married: at Perquiman MM, NC on 10 Sep 1697 to Elizabeth Mac Bride. (per Hinshaw Supplement, pg 4) Children: 1. William Moore b. 10 Nov 1699, m. at Perq. Co NC 10 Sep 1730 to Rebecca Tomes. Married 2nd Martha Odome of Henrico Co VA. No children were listed in Will at Perq. Co NC Apr 1752, age 53. 2. John Moore b. 21 Oct 1702, m. at Perq MM, NC Mary Ratcliff on 10 Dec 1729. Will proved 21 Oct 1755, age 53. Children: Cornelius b. 1731, m. 1757 Keranhappuck Pierce; Joseph; Giedeon; Miriam; Sarah; and Betty b. 1734. 3. Joshua Moore b. 5 Aug 1705 m. at Perq. MM, NC on 7 Jun 1734 to Elizabeth Barrow. She b. 1710. His will proved at Perq. Co. 24 Feb 1734/5, age 29. (He died same year he wed.) Will lists brothers Samuel, John, Truman, nephew Cornelius (son of John), niece Elizabeth Nixon (dau of Elizabeth), and wife Elizabeth. Joshua had no children. 4. SAMUEL MOORE b. 1707 (see below) 5. Jane Moore b. abt 1709 m. 8 Apr 1731 at Perq. MM, to Samuel Bundy. 6. Elizabeth Moore b. abt 1711 m. 15 Apr 1732 Perq. MM, NC to John Nixon as his second wife. Elizabeth d. 4 Dec 1734, age 23. They had one child: Elizabeth Nixon b. 29 Apr 1733. 7. Truman Moore b. abt 1716 m. 1 Dec 1737 at Perq MM, NC to Leah Hill. His will proved at Perq. April 1753, age 37. They had: William; Samuel; Thomas; Jesse; Jane; and Mary. 8. Hezekiah Moore b. 24 Nov 1718. He was disowned from Friends Church at Perq MM on 5 Oct 1757 at age 39. Unkn who he wed, or offspring. MOORE LINE - THIRD GENERATION SAMUEL MOORE Born: 23 Dec 1707 Died: 21 Jan 1755, will proven at Perq. Co NC Jan 1756, age 49. Parents: William Moore - Elizabeth Mac Bride Married: Sarah Morris 6 Sep 1740 at Perq. MM, NC. She was b. 6 Sep 1712. Was the dau of John Morris & Mary Symons and granddaughter of Thomas and Rebecca Symons. Children: 1. JOHN MOORE b. abt 1740 (see below) 2. Jonathan Moore - Per "NC Wills" by Olds, pg 244, Pasquotank Co NC, his will probated 1776, names brothers Aaron, John, and sister Sarah Arnold. 3. Aaron Moore m. Ann Albertson 5 Jan 1780 at Perq MM NC 4. Joshua Moore m. Hannah Hargrave 20d 3m 1760 in Virginia 5. Mary Moore m. Robert Newby at Perq. Co 4 Mar 1789. He was b. 18 Oct 1767. 6. Sarah Moore m. Joseph Arnold 5 Jan 1774 at Perq. MM, NC. He b. 1 Apr 1753. MOORE LINE - FOURTH GENERATION JOHN MOORE Born: abt 1740 Died: unkn date, NC Parents: Samuel Moore - Sarah Morris Married: Mary Pearson on 6 Dec 1769 at Perq. MM, NC. John and Mary attended Core Sound MM, NC in the late 1700's. All the children married there. Children: 1. Mary Moore m. Benjamin Stanton 11 Mar 1784 2. SARAH MOORE b. abt 1765 (see below) 3. Armelle (Amelia) Moore m. Zemeriah Harris 5 Feb 1786. 4. Judith Moore, disowned for marrying out of unity on 2 Apr 1791. Unkn who she wed. 5. Gideon Moore MOORE LINE - FIFTH GENERATION SARAH MOORE Born: abt 1765 Died: Parents: John Moore - Mary Pearson Married 1st: 5 Mar 1785 at Core Sound MM, Carteret Co. NC to Jame Mace. He d. 13 Nov 1809. He was son of John Mace and Hannah Borden. Married 2nd: on 28 Apr 1811 at Core Sound MM. Carteret Co. NC to Jonas Small. James Mace and Sarah had eight children.
