She was b. 1665 and d. 1702, she was dau of Richard Gardner and Sarah Shattuck. Note: John wed 2 more times after death of Miriam, but all of his children were by her. Children: 1. The earliest vital records are in his handwriting and a large number of marriages were solomnized by him, the marriage service for many years being a civil and not a religious contract.
