              Hazel Parrow Milton

                                          1881 - 1964

Hazel Parrow Milton was born on May 6, 1881 at Wild Rice, Dakota Territory to Odile (Dumas) and Edward Parrow.  Her baptism is recorded at St. Benedict's Church there as Maria Anastasia Perreault on May 26, 1881.

She was married to Earl Milton on June 7, 1901 at Forman, ND.  Two children were born to them, Muriel Emily on March 29, 1905 and James Harvey on March 23, 1908.  They farmed north of Havana until the depression years.  During the winter of 1934-35, they moved to Minnesota.  They farmed and milked cows in the Shooks, MN area until 1963 and then moved to Buhl, MN.

   Their daughter, Muriel was married to Matt Decker, brother of Mrs. Art (Annie) Parrow and Mrs. Mike (Lena) Parrow.  Art & Mike were brothers of Hazel Parrow. Muriel & Matt had 7 children, Earl, RoseEllen, Donald, Verona, Duane, Beverly and Elizabeth.

   Hazel and Earl's son, James was married to Edna Rodlund and they had 10 children, Joseph, Earl, Robert, Delbert, Roger, Lois, Lila, Jean, Joann and James, Jr.

   Hazel died at Buhl, MN on September 29, 1964 at the age of 83.  In 1968, Earl went to Bemidji to live with his daughter Muriel and then in 1970, resided at the Beltrami Nursing Home.  He passed away on October 5, 1972 at the age of 90.
