Odele Parrow Weber

        1882-1912

Odele Parrow was born June 6, 1882 at Wild Rice, Dakota Territory. She married Peter Joseph Weber in the fall of 1899. Pete was the son of Henry and Margaret Weber. He was born in St Croix, WI on February 20, 1878. He came with his parents to Havana in 1882. He was a brother of Jacob Weber, husband of Millie Parrow.

Odele and Pete lived at Midland, SD for about 8 years and then moved back to Havana where they settled on the L.W. Holder farm. They had four children, Cora, who was born on February 14, 1900 and died September 3, 1900; Richard Peter , born October 12, 1903, Mildred born in 1906, and Carl on December 4, 1907.

Richard was married to Helen Furgerson and Elvera Masengarb. He died on May 6, 1990. Carl was married to Cora Syverson and he died on December 2, 1986. Whereabouts of Mildred is unknown at this time.

Odele suffered from Bright’s Disease and passed away on August 5, 1912 at the age of 30. Pete raised their children without remarrying. He died on June 29, 1968 at Wahpeton, ND at the age of 90. Pete and Odele are buried at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Havana.
