Our Family Roots are deep and many!
Our family roots are from many countries. Bauer, Förster, House and Schmidt are German; Belden, Blackwell, Emery and Soden are English; Clique was thought to be French but so far, back to 1838 we can find it only in England; Fradenburg probably originates from the Dutch name of Vredenburgh; Mathys and Ryff are from Switzerland; Ross and McKee both originated in Scotland although our McKee roots came to the U.S. from Ireland.
Our descendants are indeed a variety of nationalities. Hopefully we will eventually find some native American Indian blood which is still an unproven rumor. If the rumor is true, it's possibly through my Blackwell or Ross line as they are the only two lines with holes not yet filled.
We hope you will enjoy visiting our family tree. We will add more family charts as time permits. If you can find a connection to your own roots, please contact us so we can exchange information.
