I am posting this family looking for help. I am not sure that 
Jackson Pate or Bradley Pate belong in this family, but from 
all the records available, it appears they are probably sons 
of Booker & Priscilla Pate. Booker & Priscilla Pate were in
1820 Monroe Co, MS and 1830 Marion Co, AL.
  I am aware there are published family records showing the
father of Bradley Pate (1806-1890) was Washington Pate, and
Washington Pate's father was Booker Pate. However, in working
with descendants of these families, we decided they must have
been confused, possibly from the fact that Washington Pate was
about 30 years older than his half brothers and sisters.
  Washington Pate died in Prairie Co, AR in 1877 and his widow
filed for a Civil War Pension. Their children in the 1880 census
are shown as Cicero Q Pate (b.1855), Cosanus M Pate (1859), 
Lydia E Pate (1864), Julia G Pate (1868), Cortes F Pate (1875),
and Collusa J Pate (1877).
