Nalley, Ronnie Lee
Ronnie L. Nalley, age 61, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011.
He was born April 16, 1949, in Benton, Arkansas. Ronnie had previously worked
at Ashby Funeral Home as and E.M.T. and was a member of Sharon Missionary
Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, D. R. and
Mabel Kennimer and Charles and Daisy Nalley.
He is survived by his wife
of 38 years, Dorothy Nalley; two daughters, Tonya Rogers and Rhonda Bennings
and husband Brock; son, Tanner Nalley; parents, Leroy and Patsy Ruth Nalley;
two brothers, Randy Nalley and wife Janet and Jeff Nalley and wife Sheila;
sister, Betty Crow and husband Mark; two grandchildren, Austin and Garrett
Rogers; four nieces and nephews and six great-nieces and nephews all of
Benton.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14 at Ashby
Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 15 at
Sharon Missionary Baptist Church in the Fellowship Hall with burial at Sharon
Cemetery. Bro. Richard Hamlin and Bro. Muncy Harris will be officiating.

Nalley, Ted
Teddie (Ted) Nalley, 82 of Benton, Arkansas, went to be with his Savior
and Loving family waiting for him, on June 3, 2015. Ted was born September
12, 1932, in Benton. He grew up in Benton where he graduated from Benton
High School in 1952. Ted loved football and played on Benton's 1st Junior
High School football team. He played on Benton's High School football team
and was selected for the "Elbert Kizzea's all time eleven. Ted also was
elected co-captain of his football team in 1952, playing Linebacker defense
and center/tackle on the offense line. He attended UALR until he joined
the Navy, serving two years active duty during the Korean conflict and eight
years reserve. Ted retired in 1996 from Alcoa after 40 years of employment
with many friends and co-workers. After his retirement, he persued his passion
of cattle farming and associated ranching activities full time. Ted greatly
enjoyed spending time with his family, children, grandchildren and great
grandchildren at Grandpa's house and looking at the cows.
He was preceded
in death by his parents, Charles and Daisy Nalley, brothers, Louis, Carl,
LeRoy, John and Leeman; sisters, Martha Ann Rogers, Charlene Beaty, Doris
Wright and Elizabeth McPherson.
Ted is survived by his loving and devout
wife of 60 years, Sylvia; four sons, Trent, Brian and wife, Brenda, Greg
and wife, Jeannie, Damon and wife, Darla; six grandchildren, Jared and wife,
Megan, Daniel and wife, Bethanna, Parker and wife, Randi, Alexis, Elesha,
Jordan and two great grandchildren, Kaden and Ryker, one brother, Willis
(Coke) Nalley and several nieces and nephews.
Church services by Ashby
Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2015, at Sharon Missionary
Baptist Church, 402 Shenandoah, Benton, Arkansas, with Bro. Richard Hamlin
and Muncy Harris officiating.
Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. until 4:00
p.m. on Sunday, June 7, 2015, at Ashby Funeral Home.

Newcomb, James C.
James "Jimmy" Newcomb, age 68, of Springdale passed away Tuesday, September
1, 2015, surrounded by family. He was born August 26, 1947, in Little Rock
to the late J. C. and Lorene Newcomb. He had retired from Centerpoint Energy
after 32 years, was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale,
and an avid Razorback fan.
Survivors include his wife Trudy Newcomb of
Springdale; one daughter, Chrissa Newcomb of Ferndale; two stepchildren,
Avie Sassan and husband, Leo of Bentonville and Jonathan Fisher and wife,
Regina of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Baylee and Hunter Boyles
and Alyssa Sassan; one sister, Carolyn Bartlett of Benton; one niece, Holly
Magness and husband, James of Paron; great-nephew, Jake Magness; many relatives,
and a host of friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30
a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church
in Benton with Father Y.C. officiating. Pallbearers are Donnie McClendon,
Rickey Trickey, George Newcomb Jr., Curtis Skinner, Glen Bowen, and Ed Milam.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Rosary Service starting
at 7:00 p.m. Friday evening, Sept. 4th at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (501-315-4047)
in Benton.

Nicklaus, Raymond Paul
Raymond Paul Nicklaus, aged 30, of Kevil, Kentucky, formerly of Benton,
died today. He was a Church of Christ minister.
Survivors include his
wife, Patty Hall Nicklaus; a son, Brian Patric Nicklaus; a daughter, Paula
Renee Nicklaus; his father, John R. Nicklaus of Benton; and a sister, Johnnie
Brothers of Benton.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ashby Funeral
Home Chapel with Daryl Busby and Wayne T. Hall officiating. Burial will
be at Forest Hills Cemetery.

Nix, Larry Earl
Larry Earl Nix of Benton died Thursday, December 7, 2000. He was 52.
He was born February 12, 1948, in Hope.
He was a property assessment
auditor for the state of Arkansas and owner of Nix's Deer Processing.
He was a member of the Arkansas Chapter of the International Organization
of Auditors and Assessors.
He was a member of First United Methodist
Church in Benton.
Survivors include his wife Dianne Brummett Nix; a son,
Heath J. Nix and wife Laura of Truman; a daughter, Kari D. Nix and her fiance,
Brett Caradine, of Benton; his parents, Millard A. and Faye W. Nix of Benton;
a brother, Bobby Nix and his wife Barbara of Benton; and two grandchildren,
Chase Nix and Colton Nix.
Funeral is scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Ashby
Funeral Home with the Rev. David Steele officiating. Burial will follow
at Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are Rick Bergman, Rodney Russell,
Jeff Curtis, Euell Ramsey, Gerald Grace and Chris Poston.
Visitation
will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Nobles, Don Larron
Don Larron Nobles, age 63, of Fountain Lake, died Friday, May 22, 2009.
He was born on June 17, 1945, near Delight in Pike County, the son of Vernon
Alexander Nobles and Anna Bell Shepherd Nobles. He was preceded in death
by his parents; and his brother, Jerry Thomas Nobles. He was retired from
the Hot Springs Fire Department and a member of the Owensville Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Charleen Cook Nobles of Fountain Lake; three
children, Donna LeAnne Nobles Belote and her husband, Kurt, of Fountain
Lake, Jerry Kieth Nobles and his wife, Connie, of Mobile, Alabama and Ronald
(Ron) Larron Nobles and his wife, Tena, of Owensville; seven grandchildren,
Marla Hammond and her husband, Chad, and Joshua Belote all of Fountain Lake,
Kayla, Annabelle and Chloe Nobles of Alabama, Nathanial and Mason Nobles
of Owensville; one great-granddaughter, Emma Faith Hammond; his sister,
Brenda Scott of Hot Springs; his uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins
and many, many friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday,
May 26, 2009, in the Owensville Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Shell
Jr. and Rev. Scott Culpepper officiating.
Interment will be in the Owensville
Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Hot Springs.
Visitation will be Monday, 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Owensville
Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Emil Lynch, Ronnie Dunn, Terry Loy,
Rob Rostan, Bud West and Jeffery Nobles.
Honorary pallbearers will be
the people of Fountain Lake, his coffee buddies of the Three Pines, Gordon

Nutt, James Edward "Jaybird," Jr.
James E. (Jaybird) Nutt Jr. of Benton died on Tuesday, February 10, 2009,
at the age of 80. Jaybird was born December 30, 1928, to James and Eura
Nutt of Benton. After graduating from Arkansas Tech University, Jaybird
returned to Benton and was owner of the Toggery Men's Store for 48 years
before retiring. He was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church
and was involved in numerous civic roles including Benton City Council.
He was particularly proud of his involvement in the Benton Lion's Club,
which he was a member of for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife
of 58 years, Janet Jackson Nutt: one brother, William R. (Pete) Nutt and
wife Phyllis; two daughters, Susan Carson and husband Steve and Vicki Crawford
and husband Jim, all of Benton. He is also survived by granddaughters, Lisa
Dodson, Cortny Collett, Brecca Jenkins, and Cambre Carson and great grandchildren,
Hunter, Destiney, Kaylee, Maddox and Charlie Grace as well as many other
dear friends and relatives.
A celebration of life and faith service will
be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2009, at First United Methodist
Church with Reverend Victor Green, Reverend George McCoy and Reverend Mike
Clayton officiating. A reception and family visitation will be held in the
fellowship hall following the service. A private interment will be held
at Pinecrest Memorial Park by Ashby Funeral Home preceding the service.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Men's Bible Class and Benton
Lion's Club.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United
Methodist Church of Benton.
