Aunt Jane how we miss you, While on earth you roam no more; but we feel that you are resting, On Heaven's golden shore. In the home will be a vacant chair, and we all shall miss your voice; but we should not grieve so, For you are our dear Master's choice. We know your troubles are over, Your pain has lasted so long; and we hope to join you, With the angels around the throne. Thou are gone our precious darling, From this earth of sin and woe; But we'll meet in yonder world, Where she has gone to rest we know. The Golden Gates were opened wide, A gentle voice said come; an angel from the other side Welcomed our dear aunt home.
