The Pavlich Reunion
took place at the Colonel Light Gardens Primary School, Adelaide on 5th
November. 2006. Attendees shared information and each group brought along
a picnic lunch. It was a most relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
On display was a
teapot owned by Thurza and now held by one of her great granddaughters.
The teapot is a lovely pearlised brown with a floral pattern.
Numbers were down
on the 2001 Reunion, however much information was gleaned on the day. Lots
of never before seen photographs were scanned for the PAVLICH Image Database.
A Microsoft Power
Point Presentation is being put together and sold to raise funds to purchase
plaques for those family members interred in the Port Pirie Cemetery, who
do not have them. Henry d.1917 and Thurza d.1921 will be the first graves
to receive plaques. Others will be done as funds permit.
For those who do
not have Microsoft Power Point on their compupters, the disc is a standalone
product and no other software is required.
We begin at Leith,
where Biagio b. circa 1790, made his roots. We track his children on their
journey through life. Ann and Biagio who stayed in Edinburgh, and
Henry who arrived in Australia in 1853. There are birth, marriage and death
transcriptions, family descendant charts, family photographs and anecdotes,
plus brief notes on where each first generation member lived. In all a
wonderful keepsake.

interest in purchasing this disc by emailing the address below. The price
