James Albert Bass
April 24, 1862-Enlisted at Silver Creek, MS by Lieutenant Weathersby Company E 38th MS Volunteers. Elected 1st Lieutenant. He was company commander from the beginning.
November 20, 1863-Promoted to Captain.
July 4, 1863-among those surrendered at Vicksburg, MS
July 8, 1863-paroled
December 20, 1863-declared exchanged and returned to combat service.
July 14, 1864-wounded at the Battle of Harrisburg, MS. At that time he was part of Forrest's Cavalry.
1865-discharged.
Levi Jasper Bass
April 24, 1862-Enlisted at Silver Creek, MS by Lieutenant Weathersby Company E 38th MS Volunteers.
June 1862-at hospital in Hazlehurst, MS.
June 28, 1863-mortally wounded at the seige of Vicksburg, MS with his brothers at his side.
Seaborn Esau "Taw" Bass
April 24, 1862-Enlisted at Silver Creek, MS by Lieutenant Weathersby Company E 38th MS Volunteers.

Josephus "Cephus" Polk
Died of measles at the seige of Vicksburg
William Thomas Jefferson Bass
Private of Company G, 7th MS Infantry known as Goode's Rifles of Lawrence County under the command of Captain E. J. Goode. The Regiment was organized September 25, 1861 and in December of that year was stationed at Bay Saint Louis, MS. It then started for Tennessee but was recalled at Corinth, MS and assigned under General A. S. Johnston to the Brigade of General J. R. Chalmers. The Regiment, under Lt. Colonel H. Mayson, participated in the Battle of Shiloh.
Sergeant of Company G, 7th MS Infantry.
Wounded at Atlanta, GA
Served a total of 4 years.
Francis Hasher
killed in action at the seige of Vicksburg.
Francis Simeon Bass
Private-Company B, 4th MS Cavalry.
1863/1864-On detached service from the Brigade of Cabalry commanded by General Wirt Adams and stationed at Mount Carmel, MS guarding government property.
Isaac Bass
June 10. 1861-Enlisted at Monticelle, MS. Private Company A 22nd MS Infantry.
Decemeber 31, 1861-April 20, 1862 Company Muster Roll states Absent, left sick at Nashville, TN believed to be dead.
Esau Bass
July 10, 1861-enrolled at Monticello, MS by Captain Prestidge.
July 27, 1861-Captain Prestidge's Company was mustered into the Confederate States Army at Iuka, MS and became known as Company A 22nd MS Infantry.
John Franklin Bass
May 1, 1864-enisted by Captain Wilkinson at Mount Carmel, MS for the duration of the war and was attached to Moorman's Battalion of Cavalry, CSA.
Levi Bass
Served in Company F, 7th MS Infantry during most of the war. The Company was known as Marion's Men and was mustered into service at Columbia, MS August 10, 1861. Mustered into the CSA October 6, 1861 at Camp Clark, Bay Saint Louis, MS and became part of the 3rd Brigade, Army of MS under the command of General C. D. Dahlgren with hedquarters at Shieldsboro, MS.
October 11, 1863-sent to LaGrange, GA hospital.
November 11, 1863-granted 40 days furlough because of chronic diarrhea that had brought about extreme emaciation.
Wiley Esau Bass
April 24, 1862-enlisted for 3 years at Silver Creek, MS. Private in Company E, Lily White Rebels, 38th MS Cavalry, Captain C. L. Gilmer's Company.
June 19, 1862-died at home.
Benjamin Franklin Bass
May 1, 1864-enlisted at Mount Carmel, MS for the duration of the war as a Private in Company C, 24th Battalion, MS Cavalry.
Isaac Esau Bass (1821-1912)
June 10, 1861-enrolled at Monticello, MS as a Private in Company G, 22nd MS Infantry.
December 31, 1861/April 30, 1862-Muster roll states "Absent, left sick at Nashville, believed to be dead"
George Cornelius Bass
March 25, 1862-enlisted at Columbia, MS in Compan I, 38th MS Regiment of Volunteers, Captain Foxworth.
March 25/June 30, 1862-Company muster roll lists absent at hospital in Columbus, MS.
September/October 1862-Muster roll lists died September 1, 1862.
Francis Simeon Bass
Served in Stockdale's Battalion, 4th MS Cavalry.
