Eliphalet and Annah 'Mowe' French's two older children, Margie and Nellie were living with Annah's parents in 1880. No information as for Eliphalet's and Annah's death dates - so if that is why they were living with their grandparents, then why wasn't Edith living there also. Perhaps if the parents died then Edith may have been living with another relative. Edith's middle name is Peavey so it seems that she would fit here, being named after her grandmother, Phebe Ann 'Peavey' Mowe. (This needs more research to find the facts.) |
