The Leroy Deering Peavey Report states on pages 27 & 28 that in 1790, the estate of Edward Peavey deeded land to William Chandler Peavey. This very possibly is the son of Edward & Lucy. According to tax lists of Rochester, William Chandler also went by Chandler. William Chandler's birth date is not for sure. However he could have been about 28 years old in 1790 which makes him old enough to be dealing with land purchases. |
