"Peverly Brook dumps into the Great Bay. According to the New Hampshire State papers, Vol 102 page 198, there also was a stream that ran from Peverly Brook and dumped into Sagamore Creek as late as 1748 - 1757. Because it is now close to 400 yrs later, since Thomas and Jane Peverly built there house here, the path and landscape of many areas will change with the onset of more and more settling of the lands. Over the years paths of streams, brooks, creeks, and even rivers may change. There have also been dams built at Peverly Brook. So there may not be a stream running to Sagamore Creek today.
