From top left side (in dark suit) Thomas Elijah Barton, born Nov 26 1844 Henderson Co TN. He died April 29 1911 at Ector, Fannin Co TX.
Lady in white holding the baby is his 2nd wife, Sarah Jane Whitson, born June 1859. The baby is James E Barton born Dec 1 1889, James died Sept 8 1970. (James married Sarah Jones Feb 24 1910.)
Middle boy (in rear) is Moses Allen Barton born Dec 2 1875, died Jan 3 1964. (Married Josey)
Lady top right is Phoebe Minor [Mother of Thomas's first wife, Sarah Frances Minor]
Boy to side is William Hubbard Barton born March 17 1878, died Oct 28 1968. (Married 1st Annie in TX & 2nd Annie in OK.)
Boy in front right is Buford Christopher Barton born Aug 25 1880, died March 23 1961 in Gregg Co TX (married Susie)
Girl in front middle is Amanda Isabelle Barton born Sept 13 1884, died Sept 6 1957. (married Adoniram Judson Russell on April 25 1916)
The three older boys are from the first marriage. After the picture was taken Myrtle was born Dec 28 1894, Aaron was born Feb 4 1896 and Norah (Nora) was born March 30 1898.
Myrtle died Dec 1977, lived Amarillo, Potter Co TX. Myrtle married Charles W Hickenbottom. Aaron died Sept 10 1900. Nora died after 1970. Nora married Joseph H Starnes. They are in the 1920 Atoka Co OK census ED 9 sheet 5 A. [(Maggie Starnes - may not be Norah, born March 30 1898 died March 1986, she lived Quitman, Wood Co TX.)]
