MERRY CHRISTMAS 2007 HAPPY NEW YEAR Another year has come and almost gone. I’m back retired – again. I did work for a farmer during the fall harvest. I did visit the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville twice this year. I’m not canoeing nearly as much as I did for years. Father time (and the Appalachian Trail 600 mile hike in 2003) will not let me kneel on my knees for long periods and my Cardiologist has me on medication that keeps the heart beating slow so I do not have the energy to do rapids in whitewater. I did do a few canoe trips. Some here in Illinois, a couple in Indiana, a couple in Missouri , one in Tennessee and one in Georgia. I’m still working on the web site every chance I get. I add some additional information most weeks.
