Norman had children including:
Malcolm Stewart who was born about 1733, Isle of Skye, Scotland. Malcolm married a MacIntyre his wife's first name is not known.

1. ANGUS NORMAN2 STEWART (NORMAN1) was born June 1802 in Sconser, Portree Parish, Isle of Skye,Scotland, and died August 5, 1878 in PEI, buried in Little Sands Cemetery, PEI. He married CATHERINE MACKINNON February 13, 1835 in Portree Parish, Isle of Skye. Daughter of Alexander MacKinnon and his wife Marion (SARAH) MacIntosh of Coillemore, Isle of Skye, Scotland. Catherine MacKinnon was born May 12, 1812 in Coillemore, Isle of Skye, and died February 11, 1898 in PEI, buried in Little Sands Cemetery, PEI.

Notes for ANGUS NORMAN STEWART:

In June 1841, Angus Norman and Catherine MacKinnon and two children, Donald, age 2, and Alexander, age 9 mos, emigrated to PEI on the sailing vessel the "OCEAN". They arrived in Charlottetown on August 1st 1841, after a 9 week voyage.

They were met by the sons of Angus Norman's aunt, Ann Stewart Docherty who had emigrated on the Polly in 1803. The Docherty's were settled in Glashvin, PEI. The Stewarts stayed with the Docherty family for the first winter. They bought a farm in High Bank in the spring of 1842. In August 1866, they sold this farm and moved to Caledonia West, PEI.

Norman was a school teacher and a school inspector in PEI. He left the Island and became a lawyer in Wellington ND. Later he became a judge in San Diego CA.

DONALD ANGUS MACKINNON3 STEWART (ANGUS NORMAN2, NORMAN1) was born July 28, 1838 in Tarmichaig, Parish of Portree, Isle of Skye, Scotland, and died 1914 in Stewartsdale, ND, USA and is buried in Stewartsdale Cemetary, ND. He married JANET STEWART August 27, 1869. She was born Abt. 1839 in Belle Creek, PEI, the daughter of Ronald Stewart and his wife Flora Matheson of Belle Creek, PEI. Ronald Stewart had emigrated to PEI when he was 2 years old in 1803 on the ship Polly. Janet Stewart died in Stewartsdale, ND, USA. and is buried in Stewartsdale Cemetary, ND

Donald Stewart left Caledonia in 1880 and moved to a homestead 15 miles southeast of Bismark, North Dakota, and founded a town called Stewartsdale. Donald was known as the "Bard of the Plains"

Falconer, Bismark, ND - John Ronald STEWART was born March, 9,1878 in Caledonia, P.E.I. and died at Stewartsdale, ND in 1960. He married Florence Stewart HUNT on June 19, 1943. Florence was born on June 16, 1903 at Plymouth, Vt. and died. Sept. 30, 1954. John and Florence had no children. John R. was 4 years old when he came with his parents to Stewartsdale, Dakota Territory where he lived and farmed until his death in February 1960. John R. Stewart and his wife Florence Stewart Hunt are both buried in the Stewartsdale Cemetery, ND.

3. ALEXANDER THOMPSON3 STEWART (ANGUS NORMAN2, NORMAN1) was born October 30, 1840 in Tarmichaig, Parish of Portrtee, Isle of Skye, Scotland, and died June 17, 1920 in Boston, MA. He married (1) SARA CHRISTINE BEATON August 21, 1862 daughter of ANGUS BEATON and ANN NICHOLSON. She was born August 8, 1836 in Flat River, PEI, and died June 27, 1920 in Vinalhaven, ME. He married (2) DENIAH DEWAR SMITH July 8, 1876. She was born October 25, 1842 in Montague, PEI, and died May 28, 1920 in Boston, MA.
