Personally appeared before the subscriber Judge of Probate of Alachua County Margaret Exley who being duly sworn as to whether James Exley for whose estate deponent is now applying for letters of administration, died without a will, states in answer to the interogatory that said James Exley left no last will and Testament.
And further that he left two children deponent, further swear that she will well and truly administor all and singular the goods, chattles, rights and credits of said deceased make a just and true inventory of the same, pay his debts as far as the assests of the estate shall extend and the law direct and make a fair distribution according to law, and render a true account of the administration when required.

Margaret Exley, James Pendarvil and Lewelling Williams
are held and firmly� bound unto the Governor of the State of Florida and his successors in office, in�the sum of Six Thousand---------- dollars for the payment wherof, well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and severally, firmly by these present.
Signed and sealed this 5th day of November, A.D. 1857.
The condition of this obligation is made that if the above bounden Margaret Exley administrator of all and singular the goods, chattles, rights and credits of James Exley deceased, do make or cause to be made a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattles, rights and credits of the said deceased, which have or shall come to the hands, possession, or knowledge of her the said Margaret Exley or into the hands or possession of any person or persons for her and the same be made, do cause to be filed in the office of the Judge of Probate for the county of Alachua at or before the first day of January next ensuing and all the goods, chattles, rights and credits of the said deceased, at the time of the�death of the said deceased, which at any time after shall come to the hands or possession of the said Margaret Exley or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for her to well and truly administor according to law; and further make or cause to be made a true and just account of her administration, when required, and all the use and residue of said goods, chattles, rights and credits which shall be found remaining upon the said administrators account, the same being first examined and allowed by the Probate Court of the County where the said admistration is granted, and shall deliver or pay to each person or persons respectivley, as the said court by their order or decree,�pursuant to the true intent and meaning of this act, shall approve and direct, and if it shall thereafter appear that any last will and testament was made by the said deceased and the excutory or executor therin named do file the same in the office of the said Court, make request to have it allowed and approved and the said will is allowed and approved by the said�Court, then if the said Margaret�Exley, above bounden, being thereafter required, do render and deliver the said� letter of administration, then this obligation to be said and of no effect, otherwise to remain in full force and virtue.
