Julia Evans Burden Burden Snodgrass, born 1894, daughter of Isaiah and Rhoda Felty Evans. She first married A. Jack Snodgrass 6 Jan. 1910 #2 James Corbit Burden 1 May 1915; #3 Harvey Burden 30 Apr. 1919. She died 29 June 1827. She is buried in McLean Co. The picture is the only one of my great-aunt Julia to exist. It is on a medal pin about the size of a quarter. My grandparents had it and when they died, it was given to Julia's daughter. I and another cousin went to Hartford, borrowed it from the daughter and had a laser copy made. The copy is actually better then the pin. The medal has started fraying, as you can see in the picture. Her daughter is Eva Mae Burden married Ivan Blacklock. - vks <[email protected]> |
