You're researching your family history. You want to find connections to your family lines.

This web site has has been built for you. It has outline details of my grandchildrens' families, going back through the generations.

I have adapted Terry Reigel's approach to Sharing Your Data. This means that I have only included:

Births, Marriages, Deaths and Burials - just enough to confirm the identity of someone on the tree. These are on the Person Pages, accessed through the Master Index and Surname Index links on the left.
More details on a few individuals of special interest. These are on the Family Lines pages.

I have not included:

Sources for my information.
Interesting stories, portraits, and the sort of detail that changes a family genealogy to a family history. The exceptions to this are the few individuals highlighted on the Family Lines pages.

So if you feel there's a connection, just contact me. However all data I send to fellow researchers will include source citations. I will also include as as much as I know about the individuals' details and their stories, and any portraits and other illustrations I have.

I am in the process of adding the Family Lines pages. These will include Notes and Stories, Resources, Brick Walls, details of Fellow Researchers and Progress Reports. So although the Person Pages are sparse on details for the casual browser, I hope that the Family Lines pages will compensate.

Individual Identities

There may be several individuals in the database with the same name. In order to distinguish between them, each individual has a TMG ID Number. This is shown on the line below their name on the Person Page containing their details.

It would be helpful if you could quote this number in any enquiries about a particular individual or family line.

Places

Except where otherwise stated, all places are in the United Kingdom.

Privacy

As far as possible I have followed the principles of the Data Protection Acts and the National Genealogical Society's guidelines. Among others, this means that I have included no personal information on anyone I know is alive. If you feel uncomfortable with any information on this web site, please let me know.

Are you a cousin? If you think you may be related to any of the individuals or family lines on this site, just email me, Tom Piercy.
It would help if you could quote the individual's name and TMG ID No. and your connection to the individual.
I would be delighted to share my information on the individual's family lines.
