Friendship Cemetery

Friendship Cemetery was established in 1873 as the Manry Family Cemetery.
The name was later changed to Rock Island Cemetery and finally to Friendship Cemetery.

Location:  It is four miles east of  Corrigan, Texas off  FM 942. Turn right
at Friendship Cemetery sign and go approximately 100 yards to road
intersection; turn right again and continue 1.2 miles. Friendship Cemetery
sign on left side of road.  Turn left on Friendship Road to the Cemetery.

Note: On some of  the double markers there is no date of  death for a surviving
spouse, even though there is evidence that the person had died.
        Several large rocks were placed on very old gravesites and name of
individual is unknown.
