Our earliest known Williams ancestor is William Williams of Montgomey County, North Carolina. William and his sons Rivers and Green migrated to Carroll County, Tennesse and on the Ozarks of Arkansas and Missouri. William's daughter, Patsy Williams, married Boaz Aday. Tempie Williams, granddaughter of Rivers Williams, married George Washington Aday so we have many connections to this Williams family.
