The Children Of William and Martha

Sarah Jane was the oldest of the three. Martha was 23 yrs. old when she conceived Sarah and William was 28 yrs. old. At the time of her birth they were living in Howells, Ny. Not much is said about Sarah but the diary of her brother William mentions her returning to Newark, NJ. Any pictures that would of been taken of her would be on the unknown peoples page.When more is found out about her it will be added to this page.

William George was the second born.He is the writer of the diary and he is my great great grandfather.More about him will be mentioned on the following page, "The next Generation".

Albert E. was the last born of the three. He was known in the town of Port Jervis as being the heaviest man in town.He was also known for his generosity and helping hand towards others and those around him. He was well loved by his mother and forever helpful to her. Albert's young life was taken from him Jan.20, 1898 at the young age of 27 due to an pneumonia.The obituary piece mentioned Albert as a warm kind loving person and that he would be greatly missed by the towns people. It mentioned how heartbroken Martha was at his passing and that it saddened her so she would no longer leave her house. The following year Martha passed on.
