          Note: Widow Bela was very poor and thus step-daughter Lina became a foster child of Clara & Mordechi Bondi below, but her sister Sorel, 16 years older was too old to became a foster child, but was also very welcomed at their house. Bella still managed to send at least 3 of her sons Joachim, Moritz, Jacob to higher education OR Jüdische Wege ins Bürgertum book "..Joshua Nachod printed on the first German language Jewish Predikten - Wolf's "German speaking subscribed.." Simchen Nachod above, good singer, well educated in Hebrew and ceremonial, was for 40 years religious servant and cantor in the private synagogue of the Bondi family in Dresden because by law, Jews were not allowed to build a public synagogue in Saxony (Sachsen). The Bondi family and the Jewish community the death of Simchen was a big loss and so far (1803) Isaac Simon Bondi below? was not able to find a successor. The country constitution did not allow Jews to build a synagogue at this time so the Bondi family offered a private room in their own home as a synagogue for the community. The Nachod and the Bondi family established a tight relationship for about 100 years which was on the long run very influential in entire Germany as an opposite pole to the very conservative Jewish community in Mainz (Rheinland-Pfalz) OR any relation to ref.
