March Term, 1853
Ordered H. H. Perry Gu'd of Sarah Perry this day appeared in Open Court and
together with Isaac W. Morris & A. C Guzzan his securities, and entered
into and acknowledged their bond to the State of Tennessee in the sum of
Thirteen hundred dollars conditioned as the Law directs, in renewal of his
bond as Guardian aforesaid.

On motion and it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that John W.
Garrett was appointed Testamentary Guardian of Sarah F. Perry by the Will
of Elizabeth Perry, dec'd admitted to probate at December 1839 of this Court,
and it further appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that said John
W. Garrett has given no bond for the discharge of his duties as Guardian
and that he has made no settlement as such Guardian as the law requires him
to do, it is therefore ordered by the Court that the Clerk of the County
be directed to issue notice to the said John W. Garrett directing him to
come forward at the August Term 1853 of the Court and give bond and security
as the Court may require of him as Guardian of the said Sarah F. Perry he
will also give the said John W. Garrett notice to come before him on some
specified day, before the meeting of the Court on the 1st Monday in
August next and make a settlement of his Guardianship of the said Sarah F.
Perry with said Clerk; or he will be dealt with as the law directs, the Clerk
will make report of the same to the next term of the Court.

Sarah F. Perry by her next friend H. H. Perry vs. John W. Garrett
In this cause is ordered by the Court that the said John W. Garrett required
to give bond with good security in the penalty of Eight hundred & fifty
dollars as Testamentary Guardian of the said Sarah F. Perry under the Will
of Elizabeth Perry, with the usual conditions to be accepted of by the Court;
he is to have until the first Monday in September 1853 to give his bond and
security at which time if he fails to comply with this order of the Court,
the County will proceed to appoint some one else Guardian of the said Sarah
F. Perry as the Law directs.

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that John W. Garrett was appointed
Testamentary Guardian of Sarah F. Perry by the Will and Testament of Elizabeth
Perry and that the said Garrett has received more than five days notice to
come forward and Give bond and security as Such Guardian and he having failed
to appear and give security in avoidance with said notice & as the law
requires the Court therefore removes the sd. John W. Garrett and appoints
Hardy H. Perry Gu'd of sd fund for the said Sarah F. Perry. Therefore
came into Open Court the sd. H. H. Perry together with James G. Perry his
security and entered into and acknowledged

their bond to the state of Tennessee in the penal sum of One Thousand dollars
conditioned as the law directs.

Ordered by the Court that James G. Perry be appointed Overseer of the Springfield
road from Margaret Cummings to the State road near Wm. Jacksons and that
he have the following list of hands, all the hands residing on the lands
of Margaret Cummings, J. Harden, H. B. Griffin, Sam'l Hester, James Griffin,
James G. Perry and Thos. P. Acamon.

Ordered by the Court that James G. Perry be appointed Gu'd of Wm. M. Perry
a Lunatic and therefore the said Jas. G. Perry together with H. H. Perry
& Josiah Walton his Securities appeared in Open Court and entered into
and acknowledged their Bond to the State of Tennessee in the penal sum of
Thirty five hundred dollars conditioned as the Law directs.

Ordered by the Court that J. G. Perry be appointed Guardian of Wm. Perry
and thereupon the said J. G. Perry together with John Clendenning and Jo.
P. Kirkpatrick appeared in Open Court and entered into bond payable to the
State of Tennessee in the penal sum of Three thousand dollars conditioned
as the law directs and was duly qualified.
