To the Honorable Jo. C. Stark Judge etc. holding the Circuit Ct. at Gallatin.
Your petitioner Susie Lowry of Sumner Co. would show that she & Frank
Lowry were married in this Co. Mch 4 1880 where they lived together as man
& wife about nine months when they parted & both remained away ever
since & he has made no provisions for her since in any way. His desertion
was willful & malicious & without cause. Since then she has
not lived with him any. Since then he has been living with one Henrietta
Myers a lewd woman & she here now charges that frequently since that
time he has been guilty of repeated lewd acts of adultery, in the co. with
her & is now living in open & notorious Lewdness with her. She
has not been guilty of adultery since nor before and at all times has conducted
herself as duty required of her as his wife. All these acts of adultery
on his part occurred in Sumner County where he now lives. Premises
considered she asks leave to file this petition in this Court making Frank
Lowry a defdt. . Let process issue & bring him before the Court
and let him answer. On a final hearing grant her a divorce from him
from the bonds of matrimony. Grant her all other general & special
relief to which she may be entitled and as in duty bound will ever
pray.
