Fountain L. McDaniel vs. Caesar Belote Motion
This day came the Plaintiff by his attorney and filed in Open Court the following proceedings had before a Justice of the Peace to wit State of Tennessee Sumner County To any lawful officer to execute & return You are hereby commanded to summon Caesar Belote to appear before me or some other Justice of the Peace for said County to answer F. L. McDaniel in a plea of debt due by note for One hundred Dollars. Given under my hand & Seal his 6th day of December 1842.

Judgment against Defendant for fifty four Dollars with Interest from the 6th January 1843 and the costs January 6th 1843.

On or before the 1st day of March next I promise to pay Fountain L. McDaniel One hundred Dollars in part for twenty nine acres of land sold to me by the said McDaniel value ac'ed Witness my hand & Seal December 15th 1841.

State of Tennessee
Sumner County To any lawful officer to Execute & return you are hereby commanded that of the goods and chattels lands & tenements of Caesar Belote if to be found in your county you cause to be made the sum of fifty four dollars with Interest from the 6th day of January 1843 and legal costs to satisfy a Judgment that F.L. McDaniel obtained against said Defendant before me on the 6th day of January 1843. Given under my hand and Seal this 19th day of January 1843.

levied 17th day of January 1843 on 1 house of Tobacco 1 Bay mare 1 cow and calf 10 head of hogs 6 head of sheep 1 stack of fodder as the property of Caesar Belote to satisfy an Execution in favor of F.L. McDaniel no other goods and chattels to be found in my county levied on forty acres of land in Sumner County District No 3 adjoining the lands of Wm Dodd Wm Holt & others.
