In the name of God Amen: I Richard Bradly of the County of Sumner and State of Tennessee, being old, blind and infirm, knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, my soul I recommend to the Author of its existence and body to its Mother, Dust, I now wish to make my last Will and testament in the manner following to wit:
I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife, Catherine Bradley, my black horse, bridle and saddle one cow, one bed and furniture and all of the household and kitchen furniture to be her own and to be disposed of at her discretion, the house and plantation whereon I now live which contains of my land in the West side of Drake's Creek, with all the appurtenances there upon belonging, I give to my wife during her natural life time and at her death to

belong to my daughter Catherine Standly with all the appurtenances there
unto belonging, the part of my land that lies on the East side of Drakes
Creek, I give and bequeath to my son Isaac Bradly with all the appurtenances
thereunto belonging, my wagon and gear I wish sold and the money arising
from said sale to be equally divided between my sons to wit: David
Bradly, William Bradly, Abram Bradly, Isaac Bradly, and the heirs of my son
Richard Bradley Jr. My debts and funeral expenses I wish to be all
punctually paid. I wish Richard Cope, William Lamb and Abram Bradly,
Executors of this my last will and Testament. I hereby disannull all
former wills and Testaments, namely one bearing date sixth day of October
1821. Signed, sealed, and delivered in presents of us. This fourth
day of August 1827.

The last Will and Testament of Richard Bradly dec'd was exhibited in Court
for probate and was duly proved agreeable to law by the oath of William Lambath
and David Bradly, two of the subscribing witnesses thereto and ordered to
be recorded, and thereupon Abram Bradly and William Lambath, two of the Executors
named in the said will appeared in Court and together with David Bradly,
their security entered into and acknowledged their bond to the Governor in
the sum of Two Hundred dollars conditioned as the law directs and took the
oath of Executors prescribed by law.
