This page contains just a bit of genealogy projects I've been working on, including an online version of a booklet published a few years on Walker's School of West Zorra. The origin of the booklet is uncertain but I believe it was published as part of a reunion to commemorate the closing of the school in 1966. My grandmother and two of her brothers attended this school and one of her brothers, Fred Thornton, served two years as a teacher in the school. For those of you interested in the genealogy of the families in that area, some of the photos may be a worthwhile find for you.

You will also find the family tree of my mother's paternal grandfather, Thomas Blackman, a family tree of my mystery family and a link to a file I've compiled from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and the Australian War Memorial websites listing PRIDEs/PRYDEs of the two World Wars recorded in their databases. This list will be revised to incorporate names from other Commonwealth countries as the information becomes available. Scroll down the page for that file.

Here is the genealogy of Thomas Blackman, my mother's grandfather.
This link will lead you to a listing of PRIDE/PRYDE's who served in their country's armed forces during the two World Wars.
Here's my mystery family, a collection of GINGELLs and REEVEs that I discovered in an old bible (circa 1750?) amongst my parents possessions. I can't relate any of them to any part of my existing family tree. If you have any information on them, please get in touch.

Here are some other websites I've been working on, non-genealogy - personal interests:
