The easiest way to navigate through this site is to use one of the SITE MAPS, however, the links below are the four "Chapter Titles" that will lead  you from one generation to the next.

My motive for doing this research was to trace the lines involved back in time. After that, I have concentrated my efforts on the years between their arrival in Canada and about 1900. I have made no serious attempt to include everyone ever born to these lines, although I will be glad to add them. It is entirely probable that neither the site nor the research will ever be complete!

As with all works of this ilk, there may be errors and omissions.

Please let me know if you find either.

Feel free to contact me for more information regarding these lines, and above all enjoy!

The Baumanns in Germany The Pioneering Generation The Baumans of Puslinch The Bowmans of Puslinch
This section is as it sounds...my direct line back from Joseph Bauman and Josepha (Spitz) Wegmann, who were The Pioneering Generation". It includes various related lines back through time to as early 1600. The first of this line to come to North America (Joseph and Josepha). This page includes links to their children who become the Bauman family of Pulsinch. It also  includes links to the origins of spouses when I have found them. The stories, accomplishments and children of this, the first generation born here. It also  includes links to the origins of spouses when I have found them. Although this is the generation who  strayed away from the Bauman spelling and the Catholic Church, many of them remained in the immediate area...where many of their descendents can be found yet today.

It also  includes links to the origins of spouses when I have found them.
