I don't claim to be an artist but I do like to draw. I do a lot of it now that I am retired. I am pretty much home bound and drawing is relaxing for me. I do all of my drawing with a mechanical pencil loaded with 2B leads. PLAIN AND SIMPLE - THAT IS MY WAY. 

At last count, I had almost 400 sketches stashed away in my digital achieves. Some good, some bad, most about average

- all done by me. I typically turn out 2 or 3 new sketches every day. 

I will refresh this page often with new drawings.

Dedicated to Staff Sergeant James Quinton Guthrie USAAF. World War Two B17 Bomber crew gunner instructor. From The Greatest Generation. He was my brother in law.

 

  
Staff Sergeant James Quinton Guthrie USAAF.  Circa 1943. He spent the war years at Valdosta Air Field GA and Wright Patterson Air Field OH. He volunteered for combat service several times. The service decided that he was more valuable to them as a gunner instructor and working to design mechanical and structural improvements to the B17s. He always felt guilty for not going over to fly in the skies over Germany.  
Dedicated to SP4 Gerald Cornish U.S. Army.  
Dedicated to ELectrician's Mate Master Chief Petty Officer William Hightower U.S. Navy.  
Dedicated to Machinist's Mate First Class Petty Officer Thomas B. McEntee U.S. Navy. THE GOAT.
