To his Honor Mesirs William Hailes Esq President and Commander in Chief of the Province of New Brunswick

The memorial of Andrew Gray most humbly sheweth that he is fifty years of age has a wife and eight children and has had Lot No eight containing 300 acres granted to him and no more land has ever been granted to him. The lot No 8 is on the south lot of the river Kouchabogaugh in the Parish of Carlton in the County of Northumberland.
