Welcome to the Cabins in the Woods web page. This is the home of genealogy work of Roger Christophel. The cabin (a modern frame house really) is situated in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia. It's the home of Roger and Debra (Bicknell) Christophel.

This page is dedicated to the many ancestors that came before us. Even though we grew up in South Western Ohio, it appears that our ancestors crossed paths in Kentucky and possibly in Viginia. These paths crossed anywhere from 50 to 200 years ago. Simply proving that "It's a small world after all."
