John (1793- ) Cass Co., IN and Lucy Crooks (ca 1801)
Brief History:
According to Helm, John Dalzell (1793- ) was born in Ireland, immigrated to Washington Co., PA and settled in Adams Twp., Cass Co.,IN. He married Lucy Crooks, daughter of General Richard Crooks. Their
children were: Ellen, Robert, John, Isabell, Sarah, and Lucy.
"Several of the his children continued to live in Cass Co., for many years and his sons are listed in the 1880 Census of Bethlehem Twp. (John #118/121 and Robert, 140/144).
