Brendle Family

The first known Brendle of NC is Johannes "John" Brindle of Lincoln County, born in Berks County, PA June 23, 1746. He is listed in the 1800 Census with 3 boys and 3 girls. Johannes was the son of Johann George Brendel of Alsace, France who came over to America on the ship "Snow Two Sisters" on September 9, 1738 and settled in Berks County, PA. This family is well documented throught the Latter Day Saints which you can link to from this website. Please feel free to notify me of errors or additions to the information given.
