Wladislaus / Ladislaus Drabek was born around 1889. He emigrated from Moravia, in Czechoslovakia, to Texas. He also went by the name Walter. He married Lulu. Some time around 1916 he emigrated to southern California. Lulu remained in Texas, possibly expecting to join him once he became established. Although they corresponded, they apparently never saw each other again. He died young, in the 1920's or '30's, evidently of a heart attack.
