Also listed in the household was her brother Ransom; The census list Elisha's family living in a framed house owning land.4 Caroline C. appeared on the 14 June 1860 census of Ischua, Cattaraugus, New York, in the household of her parents Elisha and Amy Hawley.5 On 4 November 1863, Caroline C. Terry married Charles Graves in Ischua, Cattaraugus, New York.1 Caroline was listed as the wife of Charles Graves on 30 July 1870 Census in Lyndon, Cattaraugus, New York, included in the household is Bell G. Graves and Blanche Graves.6 Caroline was listed as the wife of Charles Graves on 18 June 1880 Census in New Lyme, Ashtabula, Ohio, included in the household is Bell G. Graves and Blanche Graves.7 Caroline was listed as the wife of Charles Graves on 13 June 1900 Census in New Lyme, Ashtabula, Ohio, included in the household is Bell G. Noble, Blanche Morgan and Terry Willis Graves; Also included in the household is Blanche's daughter, Belle C. Elisha Terry was born on 30 August 1802 in Homer, Courtland, New York.1,4,5,2 Freeman, Elisha's father, came to Homer, N.Y., where Elisha was born in 1802. In 1825 Elisha came to Ischua and settled on Dutch hill.2 He was the son of Truman "Freeman" Terry and Rebecca Ann "Betsey" Ball.2,3 Elisha Terry, Daniel Conrad, William Hawley, Johannes Conrad, Joseph Conrad and Jacob Linderman were considered pioneers in Ischua, Cattaraugus, New York; the area was still known as Hillsdale.6 Elisha Terry married Amy Hawley, daughter of William Hawley and Philura (Unknown Name).1
