This was during the indian uprisings.³ Russell was Postmaster in July 1863 in Covington, Dakota, Nebraska.³ According to the 1870 census, Russell Holmes "Russ" Wilbur was living near Jefferson Wilbur and Elizabeth Wilbur in Ponca, Dixon, Nebraska.⁹

Esther Hannah Wilbur, John Albert Wilbur, Fanny Antoinette Wilbur, Charles Eugene Wilbur, Franklin Pierce Wilbur, Guy Russel Wilbur and George Burr Wilbur were listed as household members.¹⁰ Residing in La Porte, Wayne, Nebraska, on the 1880 Census, Russell Holmes "Russ" Wilbur was listed as the head of the family and Esther, his wife. Also living in the household were , his son, John, Charles, Franklin and George, his daughter, Fanny and Carrie, his father, Stephen Van Rensselaer Wilbur.¹¹ Russell Holmes "Russ" Wilbur and Esther Hannah Moore appeared on the census of 27 June 1885 in Wayne, Wayne, Nebraska.¹² Russell Holmes "Russ" Wilbur died on 13 February 1889 in Wilber, Wayne, Nebraska, at the age of 62.^13,3 Russell was buried in the Greenwood Cemetery, located in Wayne, Wayne County, Nebraska . In the Wilbur family plot along with Stephen ( his father), Guy (his son), and Frank ( his grandson).³

     Winnefred M "Winnie" Wilbur was born on 10 July 1894 in Ponca, Dixon, Nebraska.^1,3 She was the daughter of Fred Elmer Wilbur and Mary Fleura "Mamie" Conrad.² On the 10 July 1900 Census, Winnefred were listed as a daughter in the household of Fred Elmer Wilbur and Mary in Highland, Garfield, Nebraska.⁴
On the 1910 Census, Winnefred were listed as a daughter in the household of Fred Elmer Wilbur and Mary.³ On 24 February 1918, Winnefred M "Winnie" Wilbur married Edward Heydon in New Castle, Dixon, Nebraska.⁵ Winnefred was listed as the wife of Edward Heydon on 21 January 1920 Census in New Castle, Dixon, Nebraska, included in the household is Perry E. Heydon, Willard Heydon and Wilbur Heydon.⁶ Winnefred was listed as the wife of Edward Heydon on 7 April 1930 Census in New Castle, Dixon, Nebraska, included in the household is Perry E. Heydon, Willard Heydon, Wilbur Heydon, Earnest Heydon, Mary Jane Heydon, Walter Heydon and Nathan R. Heydon.⁷ Fred Elmer Wilbur, Lulu "Maude" Brewer, Claudia Ann Christian, Elizabeth Verna "Bessie" Wilbur, Florence Rose Johnson, Clara Jennison and Cleo Wilbur were listed as survivors in the 7 May 1936 obituary of Mary Fleura "Mamie" Conrad which printed in the Nebraska Journal Leader, circulated in Ponca, Dixon County, Nebraska.⁸ Winnefred M Heydon was mentioned in the will of her father Fred Elmer Wilbur on 28 September 1938 in Ponca, Dixon, Nebraska.⁹ Elizabeth Verna "Bessie" Wilbur, Lulu "Maude" Brewer, Claudia Ann Wilbur, Florence Rose "Flossie" Wilbur and Clara "Kitty" Wilbur were listed as survivors in the 23 February 1939 obituary of Fred Elmer Wilbur which Nebraska Journal Leader, Ponca, Dixon, Nebraska.² Henry William Reinwald, Luetta Edith "Lue" Watson, Ruth Elizabeth Forman, Lloyd Henry Reinwald, Earle Stanley Reinwald, Lulu "Maude" Brewer, Florence Rose Johnson and Clara Jennison were listed as survivors in the 19 October 1945 obituary of Elizabeth Verna "Bessie" Wilbur which printed in the The Oregon Statesman, circulated in Salem, Marion County, Oregon.¹⁰ Winnefred M "Winnie" Wilbur died on 10 April 1967 in Newcastle, Dixon, Nebraska, at the age of 72.¹¹ Winnefred was buried after 10 April 1967 in the Ponca Cemetery, located in Ponca, Dixon County, Nebraska .¹¹

     Abigail Wilbur was never married.¹ She was born on 6 March 1815.¹ She was the daughter of Stephen Wilbur and Thankful C. Howland.¹ Abigail Wilbur died on 23 March 1888 at the age of 73.¹
