I am not sure that the Gideon that married Sarah Burlingham is the same Gideon that is the father of Thomas born in 1770 (father of Alanson). If Gideon born in 1739 married Sarah Burlingham then the birth dates of the children are incorrect. The pension papers do not list all the children listed in The Wilburs of Nebraska. Need more research. On 5 December 1784, Sarah Burlingham married Gideon Wilbur, son of Thomas Wilbor and Deborah Clossen, in First Stanford Baptist Church, Bangall, Dutchess, New York. If the family history is correct..¹ She died after 1829 in Rensselaer County, New York.¹

On 5 October 1686, Thomas Burlingham married Martha Lippet, daughter of Moses Lippet and Mary Knowles, in Warwick, Kent, Rhode Island. On 29 August 1726, Thomas Burlingham married Hannah Gardiner, daughter of George Gardiner and Tabbitha Tefft. Thomas Burlingham died between 1756 and 1758 in Warwick, Kent, Rhode Island. He left a will on 5 June 1756. Thomas's will was proved on 7 October 1758.

She died on 22 September 1919 in Creswell, Lane, Oregon, at the age of 34.²
