He was brought over to American and served the the British Army until the surrender of Burgoyne.2

At this time he had 8 children. after 1800 migrating to Genoa, Cayuga, New York, .2 John Foote and Catherine Millersponsored the baptism of Catherine Foote on 19 April 1804 in Dillman Bauer Home, Milton, Cayuga, New York; her parents.7 John Foote and Catherine Footesponsored the baptism of John Foote Conrad on 20 October 1811 in the School House, in Milton, Cayuga County, New York.8,7 In 1812, John Footeowned property 300 acres, Odessa, Schuyler, New York. Which he purchased for £300. The land was near Watkins' Glen.3 He died in 1817 in Odessa Village, Tioga, New York.1
