Linderman and Adeline Linderman were listed as a household member living with Nicholas Linderman on the 1850 Census in Rice, Cattaraugus, New York; also living in the household is Sarah E. Winters age 14 born in New York and George L. Winters age 12 born in New York.3 On the 13 June 1855 Census, Emeline were listed as a daughter in the household of Nicholas Linderman and Sally in Ischua, Cattaraugus, New York.
