SUBMITTAL GUIDELINES

1. Please submit data using email. You may attach a text file to an email, or contact me to see if the format you prefer is compatible with my machine.
2. Please include information on where the data you submit can be obtained. It is nice to get the data from this site, but it is even better if others are able to obtain a copy of the original for themselves.
3. I will try to include information on the submitter for all files and an email link to the submitter unless you specifically ask me not to include submitter or contact information.
4. I will add the submitted data as soon as possible and email a link back to you so that you can proof read and ensure that there are no mistakes and to verify the email address is valid.
5. Please submit as much data as you can, but please limit it to the HURT surname. While I realize the importance of neighbors and extended families, until I get a better handle on web page design and management, I must limit this site to HURTs only.
6. Most importantly, THANK YOU for your contributions! I am confident that we will make many connections and meet many wonderful researchers.

Please include the year, state, county, township if applicable, page number, enumeration district, Family number, Household number, street, or any other information that may be useful.
